5.2.9 Verifying power consumption

I This task applies only, if a PSU must be replaced, which has not failed

completely.

Ê Login to the management blade web interface, see section "Accessing the

management blade web interface" on page 44.

Ê Open the Information/Operation – Operation – Power Management menu,

select the Configuration tab and scroll to the Power Consumption Options box.

– If a redundancy mode is selected in the Redundancy pull down (for

example 3+1) you can replace the PSU with no problems.

– If No Redundancy is selected in the Redundancy pull down and if the

Remaining Output Power is less than ca. 3200 W, you must shut down

some server blades before replacing the PSU.

I The Remaining Output Power value is displayed in the status frame

of the management blade web interface.
