6 Power supply
This chapter provides information on how to replace the power supply unit
(PSU).
V CAUTION!
● A combination of standard PSUs and high efficiency PSUs in one
BX900 S2 system unit is not allowed.
● The system unit supports a mains voltage in the range of 100 VAC to
240 VAC. You may only operate the server if its rated voltage range
corresponds to the local mains voltage.
Safety notes
V CAUTION!
● Do not disassemble the PSU. Doing so may cause electric shock.
● Areas around the PSU may remain extremely hot after shutdown.
After shutting down the server, wait for hot components to cool down
before removing the PSU.
● The PSU is heavy, so handle it carefully. If you drop it by mistake,
injuries may result.
