5 Install the internal hard disk unit.
1. Insert the internal hard disk unit in the 3.5-inch storage bay with its handle raised.
2. Insert firmly by lowering the handle.
 How to remove internal hard disk units
1 Open the rack door.

2 Turn off the server and all peripheral devices. Also unplug all power cables from
the server.

3 Touch a metal part of the server to discharge static electricity.
4 Remove the internal hard disk unit.
Raise the handle while pushing the tab at the front of the internal hard disk unit and draw it
forward. Pull out the internal hard disk unit with both hands.
5 Install a new internal hard disk unit or a dummy unit.
