PhoneTools lets you send and receive faxes using the modem.
Setting up your cover page
Before you send your first fax, you need to set up your user information. Your
fax cover sheets and fax headers will contain this information, which is required
by law.
Tips & Tricks If your modem has voice capabilities, see “Using
PhoneTools” on page 131 to learn how to make and
receive telephone calls.
Important Your modem cable must be installed before you can send
and receive faxes. You cannot use your standard
telephone modem to connect to the Internet while sending
and receiving faxes.
