Replacing a hard drive
Use these instructions to replace a hard drive.
To replace a hard drive:
1 Identify the computer case style. For more information, see “Identifying
your computer case style” on page 220.
2 Open the case using the instructions in “Opening the case” on page 243.
3 Disconnect the drive cables, noting their locations and orientation. (You
will reconnect the cables after you install the new drive.) See the drive
documentation for further instructions.
