If the UV monitor U9-L is placed between the UV monitor U9-M and the outlet valve , or
if the UV monitor U9-L is the peak fractionation controlling UV monitor the delay volume
has to be updated. See Check or set delay volumes, on page 153.
The UV absorption signal from the UV monitor U9-L is correlated to the real cell length.
If it is important to have absorption signals correlated to the nominal cell length a cali-
bration should be done.
