a. Use one shielded pair (100 % cover), twisted, 18 AWG (0.93 mM2-X)
b. The CFG terminal is only used by General Electric to test the analog output card to ensure it gives a
good voltage.

D-5. Limitations
In a current loop, any length of cable and number of devices can be connected in
series provided that the following conditions are met:
• All devices have floating differential inputs (both leads of signal input are
ungrounded).
• The total loop resistance does not exceed 300 Ω.
