8 - 426 Section 8-16 - Options replacement
Calibration and adjustments
No calibrations or adjustments are needed after this part replacement.
Verification
Perform the following steps to verify that the product is functioning as intended after this replacement:
1.) Connect cables and Probes you removed earlier.
2.) Power up the system to verify that it operates as intended.
NOTE: Diagnostics can be performed on a Power Assistant Battery when the battery condition is over
15%. The Battery FRU is shipped at 20~30%. You do not need to check the capacity as a
functional test. If the capacity is less than 15% (normally this does not happen), you will have
to wait for it to charge, it takes around 5 minutes to increase 1%.
Functional Checks
Perform the following functional checks to confirm the system is operational before returning the system
to the customer.
