7.9.2. Calibrate dosing pump H

In the menu bar select System>Service>Adjustment>H3BO3Dosingpump
to open the following window.
Comment:
Make sure that the tank is lled with the respective boric acid.
1. Aerate tubing. Press Vapodest-key "H3BO3" till liquid accumulates in the
receiving tube.
2. Empty receiving tube – in order to do so, turn glass and pull under towards
you. Then insert receiving tube again.
3. Press key "CALIBRATE" to start process. The pump runs for about 10 s and
lls the digestion tube.
4. Then take out the receiving glass and put the content into the measuring cy-
linder, to determine the delivery volume.
5. Enter the volume in the dialogue eld and press key "Continue".
6. Press "Accept", to nish process or run another calibration.
7. After the calibration of the pump you have to take out the quick clamping device
and insert the test tube guide cage.
