9 TROUBLESHOOTING

E01014
X or Y motor is
defective.
Or the main board is
defective.
Replace the X or Y
motor.
Or replace the main
board.
E01015
E01017 Check the media.
When the heavy roll
media is fed from the
roll, was this error
shown?
Load on the X motor
was too large.
Do not use heavy roll
media.
Use the pre-feed
function when the roll
media is using.
Conrm the cutting
conditions.
Media is thick and
hard.
Lower the cutting
SPEED and/or the
cutting FORCE.
And cut it by multi pass.
Is there anything
blocking the X
movement?
Movement of the X is
being obstructed.
Turn off the plotter,
remove the obstacle,
then turn the plotter
back on.
Use the basket.
Conrm the X motor
cables securely
connected.
Conrm the X motor
cables are connecting
to the correct
connector.
The power cable or
the encoder cable
for the X motor is not
connecting to correct
connector on the
main board.
Connect the X motor
cables securely.
Connect the X motor
cables to correct
connector.
Are the X motor
cables broken?
The power cable or
the encoder cable
for the X motor is
broken.
Replace the X motor
cables if it is defective.
Does the X-motor
rotate smoothly?
Conrm the serial
number for the plotter,
and guess how long
this motor was used.
Defective X motor or
Defective Main Board
Replace the X-motor if it
is defective.
Replace the main board
when the problem
remained even if
X-motor was replaced.
