7.2.3 Replacing the Registration Mark Sensor
How to detach the registration mark sensor
(1) Detach the pen block cover (Refer to subsection 7.1.10.).
(2) Remove the two M2L6 binding head screw holding the registration mark sensor.

(3) Detach the registration mark sensor from the pen block, and then disconnect the registration mark
sensor cable connector from the registration mark sensor.

How to reinstall the registration mark sensor
(1) Reattach the registration mark sensor in the reverse order in which it was detached.
(2) Perform the registration mark sensor sensitivity adjustment (Refer to subsection 8.13.).
(3) Perform the registration mark sensor offset adjustment (Refer to subsection 8.14.2.).
