5.2.1 Disassembling Steering Wheel
Remove:
• screw M5×20 ①
• Decoration cover for steering wheel ②
• Horn assembly ③
a. Takes down the screw ①
b. Takes down the decoration cover for steering
wheel ② and horn assembly ③
c. Use the special tools pull out the steering
wheel ④
5.2.2 Checking Steering Wheel
Check:
• steering wheel ①
• rocky ledge ②
• reverse turning clearance ③
crack/ break Replace.
loose/play Adjust.
the steering wheel to rotate whether nimble, do
not have stagnation. Adjust the torque of
the steering wheel whether obviously
increase Adjust.
NOTE
The steering force cutting which exerts to
transfers in steering wheel outflow boundary
is smaller than 245N.
The reverse running clearance whether does
surpass the limited stipulation Adjust
NOTE
The reverse running clearance is less than
30mm.
If the grip part which is covered by the foam has
been damaged, replace a new steering wheel.
• Steering shaft ①
• Washer ②
• Flange nut ③
