ORIGINAL MANUAL
• This document is a translated version of the original version. The original instruction manual as defined
by the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC was written in French. As such, it has been drafted by HASLER
Group and is only available in French. On any translation of this instruction manual, this latter indication
must be replaced by “translation of the original instruction manual”.
TRANSLATION
• Original instruction manuals are always provided in the language used in priority at HASLER Group, i.e.
French.
• In all cases where the operator’s language differs from the language mentioned above and if Machinery
Directive 2006/42/EC is applicable (machinery and country), the instruction manual translated into the
operator’s language must be available at the workstation. In this case and in accordance with the
requirements of Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, this document bears the caption “translation of the
original instruction manual”.
• Whatever the case, if there is any doubt in the interpretation, it is the original version written in the
language used in priority at HASLER Group that is deemed authentic.
• These remarks apply in full to any Declarations of Conformity or Incorporation.
DRAFTING PRINCIPLES
• As a general rule, this document is written under the terms provided for by Machinery Directive
2006/42/EC.
• It therefore contains the information concerning the installation, use, assembly, handling, adjustment and
maintenance of the equipment in question, along with the relevant information with regard to work
safety.
• This manual is therefore to be complied with in all the machine operating phases.
• Insofar as possible, as much information as possible is provided by sketches or diagrams.
• The reproduction of any part of this manual in any way whatsoever without the express permission of
HASLER Group is prohibited.
• The content of this manual may be changed without prior notice.
• Particular attention is paid to the accuracy of the content of this manual at the time of its creation.
However, should an error be detected, HASLER Group would be grateful to be informed of it.
EQUIPMENT DESIGN AND OPERATING CONDITIONS
• The equipment is designed and produced in accordance with best practices and the mechanical sizing
methods used for this type of construction; it complies with the essential requirements of Machinery
Directive 2006/42/EC in terms of safety when this directive is applicable.
• The equipment is designed to be safe under the conditions of use that comply with the rules of the Labour
Code and when it is installed and operated as planned for by HASLER Group.
• Conditions of use means the conditions prevailing during “normal” work phases, as well as during
assembly, disassembly, handling, maintenance, etc.
• The equipment must never be used before it has been fully integrated. Fully integrated means the
equipment is definitively secured to the foundations, with its pipes connected, and it is connected to its
power source(s) and control system.
• Whatever the phases or periods of use, it is important that the personnel qualification and training be
appropriate for them.
