Functional test
By means of DriveDiag:
8 Switch on the machine.
8 Insert the touch probe.
8 As a precaution press the EMERGENCY STOP button.
8 Call the DriveDiag. --> See “Integrated Diagnostic Functions and DriveDiag” on page 9 – 89.
8 Open the following page:
8 Check the lamp at TS touch probe ready (X12).
When the touch probe is ready, the lamp shines green.
8 Deflect the stylus by hand.
8 Check the lamp at Trigger signal (X12) of TS touch probe.
When the stylus is deflected, the lamp shines green.
8 You can also check the lamp at Battery (X12) of TS touch probe.
If the battery capacity is sufficient, this lamp shines green.
With touch probe systems with cable, this lamp shines red.
Consult the machine operator and observe the machine manufacturers's safety precautions
(setup mode, etc.)!
