4.7 Front and Rear Face Contours
Linear pattern on front/rear face G401-Geo
G401 defines a linear hole pattern or figure pattern on the front or rear
face. G401 is effective for the hole/figure defined in the following
block (G300 to 305, G307).
Parameters
Q Number of figures (default: 1)
XK Starting point in Cartesian coordinates
YK Starting point in Cartesian coordinates
I Final point in Cartesian coordinates
J Final point in Cartesian coordinates
Ii Distance (XKi) between figures (pattern distance)
Ji Distance (YKi) between figures (pattern distance)
A Angle of longitudinal axis to XK axis (default: 0°)
R Total length of pattern
Ri Distance between figures (pattern distance)
Program the hole/figure in the following block without a
center.
The milling cycle (MACHINING section) calls the hole/
figure in the following block—not the pattern definition.
