This will not be displayed if the Patient List
setting is set to “Not Used” (see 3.4.1 General
Settings), or the Patient ID requirement is set
to “Not Used”.
If the Patient List setting is set to “Used” and
there is a Patient List on the Analyzer that
contains the Patient ID and corresponding
Patient Name, this display will show the
Patient ID and corresponding Patient Name
as a means of positive patient identification.
If the Patient List doesn’t contain a Patient
Name corresponding to the entered Patient
ID, then the text Unknown Patient Name will
be displayed.
h) Press OK to continue or the back arrow
to go back and re-enter the Patient ID.
