9.13.4.7 Heat Pump conguration
Water pump conguration:
Congure the water pump of the
heat pump.

Night shift:
Reduces compressor load in order to reduce
environmental noise, preferably at night.

Minimum ON time:
In order to reduce a possible compressor damage,
demand ON cycles can be reduced by determining
the time that must pass before accepting new
Demand OFF.
Minimum OFF time:
In order to reduce a possible
compressor damage, demand OFF
cycles can be reduced by determining
the time that must pass before
accepting new Demand ON.
Seizure protection:
The pump seizure protection function
prevents sticking of components due
to long periods of inactivity, by running
the components during a short period
every week. Mixing valves and pumps
are fully opened and then fully closed
(time depends on Mixing valve Run
Time Factor).
Outdoor average temperature:
OTC average is used to neutralise the effect of
occasional temperature variations.
The average value of outdoor temperature sampled
over a selected period (between 1 and 24 hours) is
used for the calculation of weather-dependent set
point temperature.
