The ACM 150 monitor has 80 programmable relay outputs. This section describes the
relays' functions and uses. Alarm 1/Alarm 2 incidents and actions. These relays have a
default setup that controls their program until that setup is changed.
7.8.1. Reviewing the programmable relays
Relay 1 is preassigned to point 1. It activates when the Alarm 1 level set point is exceeded
for “all gases.” Relay 2 is preassigned to point two at the warning level. This progression
continues through relay 40 and point 40.
Relays 41-80 follow the same progression, i.e., 41-80 are preassigned to points 1-40.
Relays 41-80 activate all gases at the Alarm 2 level set point.
“All gases” applies to the gases actively monitored at that point. Relay one would activate
if one or more of these gases exceeds its Alarm 1 set point. If any of these gases exceeds
its Alarm 2 set point, relay 41 would activate.
