10.1.3. SNR Trend

SNR means the signal-to-noise ratio. It is calculated automatically during every
background scan.
SNR determines the lower detection sensitivity of the FTIR analyzer; the higher the value,
the better. The ACM 150 monitor generates an incident message if the SNR degrades
below preset limits. A degraded SNR indicates the need for service before it reaches
unacceptable levels.
10.1.4. ZPD Trend
Archives>ZPD Trend
The ZPD Trends indicate changes in the FTIR detector signal, which is the relative
intensity of the infrared radiation on the detector (refer to ZPD values (Energy and Position)
for a complete explanation).
