Batteries contain various active ingredients which store electrochemical energy and can be dangerous if
they contact your skin.
Removal and Disposal Information:
The product documentation includes instructional information of the proper removal of
thebatteriesusedintheseproducts(Section8.5andAppendix4).Thesymbolleftmeans
that according to local laws and regulations the battery installed within your product
should be disposed of separately from household waste. When the battery reaches its
end of life, take it to a collection point designated by local authorities.
1.3 Disposal
1.3.1 Searchpoint Optima Plus
When Searchpoint Optima Plus reaches the end of its life it should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations.

Various epoxy resins
Various glasses
Various engineering plastics
Various rubbers
Printed circuit boards
See Appendix 4 for instructions on battery removal.
1.3.2 Packaging
Searchpoint Optima Plus packaging is made from cardboard. Facilities for recycling are widely available.
