7.4 Output Modes
In addition to its category (see Section 7.3),
you may configure the output to operate in one
of four modes. These give combinations of
immediate or delayed, steady or pulse
operation, where:
Delay is user-programmable up to
10 minutes in 5 second intervals.
Steady = continuous.
Pulse = alternating periods of either
1 second 'ON', 1 second 'OFF', or the user-
defined pulsing periods (see Section 11.4,
Pulsing Sounder Modes).
Neither pulse nor delay are applicable for
certain categories of input.
For example, the silence/resound action for
sounders is pre-defined and need not be
programmed.
