¾ No steering function is possible in road travel mode. Steering must be straight to be able to
switch to road travel mode.
¾ When switching from eld mode (b) or automatic eld mode (c) to road travel mode (a) request
for centring the axle is presented automatically.
¾ In eld mode (b) the axle can be steered accordingly to the left / right using the softkeys (i) and
(k) or the multi-function handle.
¾ The axle can be centred in eld mode (b) with the softkey (l) or the multi-function handle.
¾ In the automatic eld mode (c) the softkeys (i), (k) and (l) as well as the corresponding functions
on the multi-function handle for steering and centring the axle are only available when driving
backwards.
¾ By activating the turning mode (f) it is conrmed that the automatic eld mode (c) remains ac-
tive after driving backwards. If the turning mode (f) is not active, steering switches back to eld
mode (b) after driving backwards.
¾ With active automatic eld mode (c) and active slope compensation (e) the intensity of the slope
correction in percent can be adjusted with the softkeys

¾ When travelling along the slope in the opposite direction, the correction value is automatically
converted to the opposite direction.
¾ Once the machine is on a level terrain, the steering correction is regulated back automatically.
NOTE
The slope compensation function should only be activated when required by the terrain!
Slope correction should not be activated when travelling primarily on level terrain!
¾ A green triangle under the steering angle (h) indicates that steering is centred.
