3.2.2 Wings
NOTE
¾ Fold the spraying boom only on level terrain to avoid damages to the folding boom.
¾ Take care before unfolding that the transport lock is open.
¾ The slope compensation must be locked during the folding process.
¾ The folding boom must always be aligned horizontally before folding the folding boom. Moving
the folding boom to the transport position and locking it may otherwise be dicult.
¾ The slope compensation locks automatically upon folding.
WARNING
Risk of injury during folding as well as lifting and lowering the spraying boom!
No persons must be about in the danger zone during this process!
NOTE
The folding process must be performed while the machine is at standstill since the folding boom
may otherwise sustain damages or breakage.
¾ If the folding boom is not secured at a travel speed greater than 2 km/h the warning message
Check the folding boom position
is displayed on the terminal.
¾ If the folding process is carried out at a travel speed greater than 2 km/h the warning message
Fold only while stopped
is displayed on the terminal.
¾ If the folding process is carried out at a travel speed greater than 5 km/h and the folding boom
is not secured, an alarm message is displayed on the terminal and the folding process stops
automatically!
Bring the machine to a stop and press the button for folding again to continue the folding process.
NOTE
Die dierence of the right and left wing is monitored during the folding process.
¾ A warning message is displayed on the terminal in case of a deviation of more than 40 %. How-
ever, the folding process is not interrupted!
NOTE
BoomControl cannot be activated if the folding boom is not fully unfolded (status on folding side
yellow).
¾ The message Folding boom control - check folding boom position is displayed on the terminal.
