a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
5. Do one of the following:
If the server is in tower mode, place the server on a flat, level surface with the access panel facing up .
If the server is in rack mode, remove the server from the rack .
6. Remove the access panel .
7. Remove the fan cage.
8. Remove the drive box blank:
a. Remove the drive box blank screws (callout 1).
b. Remove the drive box blank (callout 2).
9. Remove the media bay filler panel:
a. Remove the media bay filler panel screws (callout 1).
b. Remove the media bay filler panel (callout 2).
