Task Action
Set the ActiveX controls and plug-ins. 1. Choose Tools > Internet Options.
The Internet Options dialog box is
displayed.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click Internet.
4. Click Custom level.
The Security Settings-Internet Zone
dialog box is displayed.
5. Set Automatic prompting for
ActiveX controls to Enable, and set
Download unsigned ActiveX
controls and Initialize and script
ActiveX controls not marked as safe
for scripting to Prompt.
6. Click OK.
Enable TLS 1.0 or TLS 1.1.
NOTE
You must enable TLS 1.0 or TLS 1.1 when
the Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure
(HTTPS) protocol is used to access the IPC.
1. Choose Tools > Internet Options.
The Internet Options dialog box is
displayed.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Select Use TLS 1.0 or Use TLS 1.1.
4. Click OK.
Set Use Pop-up Blocker to Disable. 1. Choose Tools > Internet Options.
The Internet Options dialog box is
displayed.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click Internet.
4. Click Custom level.
The Security Settings-Internet Zone
dialog box is displayed.
5. Set Use Pop-up Blocker to Disable.
6. Click OK.
Procedure
Step 1 Open Internet Explorer, enter the IPC IP address (192.168.0.120 by default) in the address
box, and press Enter.
The login page is displayed, as shown in Figure 1-1.
