19 How do I hide my HUAWEI router's
Wi-Fi name
When you hide your Wi-Fi name, your phone and computer cannot detect your
router's Wi-Fi network. To connect your phone or computer to your router's Wi-Fi,
you must manually enter the correct Wi-Fi name. Hiding the Wi-Fi name helps to
enhance the security of your Wi-Fi network.
● You cannot hide your Wi-Fi name when using your router as a wireless repeater.
Method 1: Using HUAWEI AI Life App
Step 1 Connect your phone to the router's Wi-Fi network.
Step 2 Open the HUAWEI AI Life App from your phone and go to the Router screen, then
go to Show more > Wi-Fi management > Wi-Fi.
