52 How do I check for Wi-Fi squatters
on my HUAWEI router
If you experience a sudden slowdown in your Internet connection during normal
use, you should check for Wi-Fi squatters.
Method 1: Through the HUAWEI AI Life App
Step 1 Connect your phone to the router's Wi-Fi network.
Step 2 Open the HUAWEI AI Life App on your phone and go to the Router screen, then
check the list for connected devices, including their devices names and other
information to determine whether a Wi-Fi squatter is on your network. For
example, if you know you only have one device connected to your Wi-Fi network,
but the list shows there are two devices connected, someone is squatting on your
Wi-Fi network.
