6. Life
Relation between operation life and moment
The operation life depends on the moment acting on the slider.
With a light load, it may be longer than 5,000km, the standard rated life.
With no consideration of vibration and mounting conditions, the operation life is 40,000km
according to the calculation with the formula on the previous page, assuming that 0.5 CM (half of
dynamic allowable moment) of moment is applied.
We see that it can be 8 times longer than the standard rated life, which is 5,000km.
