1.10 REMOTE CONTROLS AND ROOM CHRONOTHERMOSTATS OPTIONAL
e appliance is set up for room chrono-thermostats or remote controls, available as optional kits.
Carefully read the user and assembly instructions contained in the accessory kit.
Disconnect power to the unit before making any electrical connections.
On/O Immergas digital chrono-thermostat.
e chrono-thermostat allows:
- set two room temperature value: one for day (comfort temperature) and one for night (reduced temperature);
- set a weekly programme with four daily switch on and switch o times;
- selecting the required function mode from the various possible alternatives:
manual mode (with adjustable temperature);
automatic mode (with set programme);
forced automatic operation (momentarily changing the temperature of the automatic program).
e chrono-thermostat is powered by two 1.5V LR 6 type alkaline batteries.
“Comando Amico Remoto” (Remote Control Device)
V2
(CAR
V2
) with climate chrono-thermostat function.
In addition to the functions described in the previous point, the CAR
V2
panel enables the user to control all the important information
regarding operation of the appliance and the heating system with the opportunity to easily intervene on the previously set parameters,
without having to go to where the appliance is installed.
e panel is equipped with self-diagnosis to show any appliance operating anomalies on the display.
e climate chrono-thermostat incorporated into the remote panel enables the system ow temperature to be adjusted to the actual
needs of the room being heated, in order to obtain the desired room temperature with extreme precision and therefore with evident sav-
ing in running costs.
“Comando Amico Remoto” (Remote Control Device)
V2
or On/O chrono-thermostat electrical connection (Optional).
e operations described below must be performed aer having removed the voltage from the
appliance.
Any room thermostat or ON-OFF must be connected to terminals 40 and 41 eliminating link X40.
Any CAR
V2
must be connected to terminals 44 and 41 complying with the polarity without eliminating link X40.
Make sure that the On/O thermostat contact is of the “clean” type, i.e. independent of the mains voltage, otherwise the P.C.B. would be
damaged.
If the Comando Amico Remoto remote control
V2
or any other On/O chrono-thermostat is used arrange two separate lines in
compliance with current regulations regarding electrical systems.
No appliance pipes must ever be used to earth the electric system or telephone lines.
Ensure elimination of this risk before making the appliance electrical connections.
Dialogue to remote devices (Optional)
Any remote devices must be connected to terminals 44-41 without eliminating link X40.
To enable dialogue with non-Immergas remotes, you can set parameter P.17 (Parag.3.13).
- P.17 = 0 (IMG BUS): it is the default condition for correct communication with CAR
V2
devices. In this condition, the selection of oper-
ating mode, DHW set, CH set and CH demand are handled entirely by CAR
V2
.
- P.17 = 1: It is possible to partially manage the DHW and CH function via the appliance. is type of dialogue is recommended for de-
vices other than CAR
V2
.
