1.28 SYSTEM FILLING
Once the appliance is connected, proceed with system lling via the lling cock (Part. 1, Fig. 7).
Filling is performed at low speed to ensure release of air bubbles in the water via the appliance and central heating system vents.
e appliance has a built-in automatic vent valve on the pump (Fig. 47).
en open the radiator vent valves.
Close radiator vent valves when only water escapes from them.
e lling valve must be closed when the appliance pressure gauge indicates approximately 1.2 bar cold.
During these operations, enable the automatic vent functions on the appliance (Parag. 3.17);
1.29 FILLING THE CONDENSATE DRAIN TRAP
When the appliance is switched on for the rst time, combustion products come out of the con-
densate drain. Aer a few minutes of operation, check that combustion ue gases are no longer
coming out of the condensate drain; this means that the drain trap has lled to a correct con-
densate height that the ue gases cannot pass through.
1.30 GAS SYSTEM STARTUP
To start up the system, refer to the technical standards in force.
is divides the systems and, therefore, the commissioning operations, into three categories: new systems, modied systems, reactivated
systems.
In particular, for new gas systems:
- open windows and doors;
- avoid presence of sparks or naked ames;
- bleed all air from pipelines;
- ensure the internal system is properly sealed according to the specications set forth by technical regulations in force.
