Wiring and Connections
Once the Pluto Servo Drive is mounted, the device can be wired. Proper wiring, grounding and shielding
are essential for ensuring safe, immune and optimal servo performance of the drive.

Power supply wiring
The Pluto Servo Drive has one single (12 V to 48 V ) for control and motor Supply and shunt connector
DC DC
power. An internal power supply provides circuits with appropriate voltages as well as a regulated 5 V
output voltage to supply feedback sensors.
How to dimension the power supply
The choice of a power supply is determined by voltage, current and power supply type (switching versus
linear, regulated versus unregulated...). Following are shown some guidelines to properly dimension the
Pluto power supply:
