Chapter 7—Commands
W – Windows Mode
Description is command is used to enable/disable the Windows command
mode (special applications only).

Windows Mode enable/disable:
Y Enables Windows Mode.
N Disables Windows Mode (default).
Remarks When enabled, the printer will accept Windows mode escape
sequences to print data. When disabled, escape sequences will be
ignored up to the next linefeed.
e Windows mode escape sequences are only used by the Win-
dows Printer Driver. When working with a main frame or other
non-Windows host, this mode can be disabled to prevent erratic
operation.
Examples WY :Enables Windows Mode
WN :Disables Windows Mode
