Column Character Description
1 (Space) This column typically contains a space.
2 # Extended command.
3 P Transmit Only command.
4 3 4800 baud.
5 N No data parity.
6 8 Eight data bits.
7 1 One stop bit.
8 0 No CTS flow control.
9 0 No DTR flow control.
10 0 No XON/XOFF flow control.
11--12 05 Flow control timeout is 5 seconds.
Receive Only On RS-232 Port (#G)
The Receive Only On RS-232 Port extended command pro-
vides a way to use the RS-232 port on the wireless station
to collect data. A scale is one example of a use for this com-
mand. The host computer sends #G characters to alert
the wireless station for activity on the port. Table 9-3 lists
columns in which characters must appear.
