37-Key Keyboard
The 37-key keyboard (Figure 4-2) has standard numeric
and [ENTER] keys, plus application-defined function keys.
It does not have alphabetic keys in its primary plane.
Because a radio terminal with a 37-key keyboard does not
have alphabetic keys in its primary plane, follow these pro-
cedures when using its firmware and downloading software:
" To access password-protected menus, press [F12] and
then [F11], and enter the password. For example, the
password for the SET-UP PARMS menu is 52401.
" To initiate the COLD START? menu option, press
[F10] to answer yes.
" To download software, hold down the [F1] key as you
power up the radio terminal to go into download mode.
This is similar to holding down the [I] key on the stan-
dard 57-key keyboard.
