8.13.4 File names
Only file and directory names in accordance with the 8.3 standard are supported.
8.3 file and directory names have a maximum of eight characters (letters or numbers) followed by a full
stop/period (".") and an extension with a maximum of three characters.
In addition, only upper-case letters and numbers are permissible in the file and directory names.
