13-5. X-Y Unit
The X-Y unit is composed of AC servo driver that drives the X/Y-axes and a magnescale that detects
the movement position.
Note) The YA-axis described in this section is equivalent to the Y-TBL-axis.
13-5-1. Structure of X-Y Unit
Five single-axis drivers (two AC servo drivers to drive the X-axis, one AC servo driver to drive the
YA-axis, and two AC servo drivers to drive the YB-axis) are mounted on the AC servo driver.
Additionally, four scale I/F units (or five scale I/F units in case of FX-1R) and one magnescale
detector (or one scale PCB in case of FX-1R) are mounted on the right side of the XY-driver.
