8-5. Replacing the Bank-Up Cylinder
(1) Turn off the power to the main unit.
(2) Turn on the selector switch, and the left and right roller levers to raise the bank lifter.
(3) Loosen the rod and lifter cylinder shaft of the air cylinder to detach the air cylinder (cylinder to
be replaced).
(4) Shut-down the main compressed air to the main unit (with the hand valve).
(5) Remove the left and right drive cylinder assembly mounting screws.
(6) Disconnect the air tubes from the speed controller and lower the air cylinder rod (replacement
side).
(7) Raise the bank lifter and remove four air cylinder mounting screws to detach the air cylinder.
(8) Mount the speed controller on a new air cylinder.
(9) Mount the air cylinder.
(10) Screw the lifter cylinder shaft into the air cylinder rod.
(11) Supply the main compressed air to the main unit.
(12) Adjust the speed controllers of the left and right air cylinders. (See section 8-6.)
(13) Mount the drive cylinder assembly.
(14) Mount the replacement table on the main unit.
(15) Turn on the power.
