10.4.1 Checking cooling oil level
The oil level is checked at the oil separator tank filling port. Oil must be visible in the port when the
filler plug is removed.
Material Wrench
Cleaning cloth
Precondition The machine is shut down.
The machine is standing level.
The machine is fully vented, the pressure gauge reads 0 psig.
All compressed air consumers are disconnected and the air outlet valves are open.

2 Oil filler port
3 Filler plug
A Minimum level
B Maximum level
1. Open the right-hand access door.
2. Slowly unscrew and withdraw the plug from the oil filler port.
3. Check the cooling oil level.
Top up if no oil is visible.
4. Replace the plug in the filler port.
5. Close the access door.
