5.1.5 Coolant temperature and moisture condensation
Theowtemperatureshouldbeselecteddependingonthevolumeowthattheheat
sink temperature is always 10 K below the overtemperature level (OH) at rated opera-
tion. This avoids a sporadic shutdown.
The maximum heat sink temperature can be found in chapter => „3.3.1 Switching fre-
quency and temperature“.
5.1.5.1 Condensation
Atemperaturedi󰀨erencebetweendrivecontrollerandambienttemperaturecanleadto
condensation at high humidity.
Moisture condensation is dangerous for the drive controller. The drive controller can be
destroyed through occuring short-circuits.
NOTICE
Destruction of the drive controller due to short circuit!
The user must guarantee that any moisture condensation is avoid-
ed!
5.1.5.2 Supply of tempered coolant
The supply of tempered coolant is possible by using heaters in the cooling circuit to
control the coolant temperature.
The following dew point table shows the coolant inlet temperature depending on the
ambient temperature and air humidity.
