21. When working in groups, always
let the others know what you are
going to do before you do it.
22. Never "freewheel". Disengaging
the clutch or shifting into neutral
while descending a slope as this
could lead to a loss of control.
23. Do not operate near ditches,
holes, embankments, or other ter-
rain features which may collapse
under the tractor's weight. The
risk of tractor upset is even higher
when the ground is loose or wet.

1. Lock the brake pedals together
when traveling at road speeds.
Brake both wheels together or at
the same time when making an
emergency stop. Uneven braking
at road speeds could cause the
tractor to tip over.
