20 Go to the floor where the elevator is
located.

Open the landing door with the
emergency opening key.
2. Press the car roof stop switch.
3. Close the landing door and check that
it is mechanically locked.
21 Go
to MAP.
22 Switch off the Recall Drive Feature
(RDF).

23 Close and lock the MAP.

2. Standing on the landing, switch on
the inspection drive.

Go to the elevator car roof.
4. Close the landing doors behind you.
5. Check that the landing doors are
mechan
ically locked.
25 Raise the optional car top buffers to
position for inspection drive,
if
applicable.
Refer to APPENDIX C.
26 Drive on inspection drive until you see
the safe
ty gear grip marks on the guide
rails.
WARNING! Be extremely careful when
driving upwards on inspection.
