6020 Abnormally high fuser thermistor 2
temperature
The temperature of the fuser thermistor
2 detects 240
°C/464°F or more continu-
ously for 3 s.
Shorted fuser ther-
mistor 2.
Measure the resistance. If it is 0 Ω, replace
the fuser thermistor 2 (See page 1-5-22).
Defective engine
PWB.
Replace the engine PWB (See page 1-5-
25).
6030 Broken fuser thermistor 2 wire
Input from fuser thermistor 2 is less than
1 (A/D value) for more than 1 s.
Poor contact in the
fuser thermistor 2
connector termi-
nals.
Reinsert the connector (See page 1-5-22).
