The optional diesel burner is electronically ignited (and
extinguished) via a fuel switch, which automatically
activates the diesel fuel pump.
NEVER use gasoline, alcohol or any
other type of fuel in a tack distributor equipped with a
diesel burner. Fire or an explosion can occur and
result in serious injury.
Always operate the blower before
igniting the diesel burner. If any fumes are present
that have not cleared the system, it can backre
through the burner when lighting and cause serious
injury.
To operate the diesel burner system:
1. Park the distributor on level ground.
2. Using a ashlight, check inside the tank to be sure
the burner ue tubes in the bottom of the tank are
covered by at least one inch (2.5 cm) of material
before lighting the burner.
3. Ensure ALL valves on the unit are in the OFF
position as described in Step 3 on the previous
page.
4. Turn the fuel valve to the ON position.
5. Ensure the burner [Enable] and blower switches are
both set to the OFF (I) position before proceeding.

6. Press the blower switch to turn it ON (0).
ALWAYS turn on the blower switch
BEFORE turning on the enable switch to prevent
possible explosion that can result in serious injury.
7. Press the [Enable] switch to turn it ON (0).
8. If the burner does not immediately light:
• Turn off the [Enable] switch.
• Repeat Steps
If the burner still does not ignite,
contact your authorized dealer for assistance.
To extinguish the burner:
1. Turn the [Enable] switch OFF.
2. Leave the blower operating at least one (1) minute
to cool the burner ues and purge any fumes in the
system.
3. Turn the blower switch OFF.
4. Press the burner switch button to turn OFF the
burner system.
