Attention:
•Toavoiddamagetotheharddiskdriveconnectors,makesurethattheservercoverisinplaceandfully
closedwheneveryouinstallorremoveaharddiskdrive.
•Tomakesurethatthereisadequatesystemcooling,donotoperatetheserverformorethan2minutes
withouteitheraharddiskdriveorafillerpanelinstalledineachbay.

Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoslidetheserveroutfromtherack
enclosure,turnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Step1.Removethedrivebayfillerpanelfromtheserver.
Step2.Slidethebluereleaselatchtotherightwithonefinger(toreleasethedrive)whileusinganother
fingertograsptheblackdrivehandleandpulltheharddiskdriveoutofthedrivebay.
