Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoslidetheserveroutfromtherack
enclosure,turnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
ToreplacetheDVDdrivecable,completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.AlignthecableconnectorwiththeconnectorontherearoftheDVDdrivecage.Pressthecable
connectorintotheDVDdrivecageconnectorandslidethecableconnectortotheleft(locked
position)tolockthecableinplace.
