•Power-controlbuttonandpower-onLED:
Pressthisbuttontoturntheserveronandoffmanually.Thestatesofthepower-onLEDareasfollows:
–Off:
Powerisnotpresentorthepowersupply,ortheLEDitselfhasfailed.
–Flashingrapidly(4timespersecond):
Theserveristurnedoffandisnotreadytobeturnedon.Thepower-controlbuttonisdisabled.This
willlastapproximately5to10seconds.
–Flashingslowly(oncepersecond):
Theserveristurnedoffandisreadytobeturnedon.Youcanpressthepower-controlbuttonto
turnontheserver.
–Lit:
Theserveristurnedon.
•Resetbutton:
Pressthisbuttontoresettheserverandrunthepower-onself-test(POST).Youmighthavetouseapen
ortheendofastraightenedpapercliptopressthebutton.
•HarddiskdriveactivityLED:
WhenthisLEDisflashing,itindicatesthattheassociatedharddiskdriveisinuse.
•System-locatorLED:
UsethisblueLEDtovisuallylocatetheserveramongotherservers.ThisLEDisalsousedasapresence
detectionbutton.YoucanuseSystemsDirectortolightthisLEDremotely.ThisLEDiscontrolledby
theIMM2.
•ChecklogLED:
WhenthisyellowLEDislit,itindicatesthatasystemerrorhasoccurred.Checktheeventlogfor
