2.Reconnectthepowercordsandanycablesthatyouremoved.
3.Turnontheperipheraldevicesandtheserver.

Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoslidetheserveroutfromtherack
enclosure,turnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Toremovethebezel,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Iftheserverhasbeeninstalledinarack,pressthetworeleaselatchesonthefrontoftheserver
andremovetheserveroutoftherackenclosure.
Attention:Twoormorepeoplearerequiredtoremovetheserverfromarackcabinet.
Step2.Removethedrivesanddrivebayfillerpanelsfromthedrivebays(see“Removingahot-swaphard
diskdrive”onpage172,or“Removingasimple-swapharddiskdrive”onpage175,or“Removing
theoptionalDVDdrive”onpage179).
Step3.Removethescrewsfromthebezel.
