Step2.Installthereplacementfaninthebracket:
a.Makesurethatthefancablesitsinthechannelonthesideofthefan.
b.Inthelocationfromwhichyouremovedthefailedfan,routethefancableintothefancable
slotinthefanbrackettop.
c.Insertthefanintothebracket.
d.Makesurethateachofthegreysofttabsonthefanisfullyseatedinitsslotinthefanbracket.
Step3.Connectthereplacementfancabletothesystemboard(see“System-boardinternalconnectors”
onpage26forthelocationsofthefancableconnectorsonthesystemboard).
Step4.Reinstalltheairbaffleifitwasremovedbefore(see“Replacingtheairbaffle”onpage160).
Step5.Reinstallthecover(see“Replacingthecover”onpage158).

1.Installtheserverintotherackenclosureandpushtheserverintotherackuntilitclicksintoplace.
2.Reconnectthepowercordsandanycablesthatyouremoved.
3.Turnontheperipheraldevicesandtheserver.
