1.Installtheserverintotherackenclosureandpushtheserverintotherackuntilitclicksintoplace.
2.Reconnectthepowercordsandanycablesthatyouremoved.
3.Turnontheperipheraldevicesandtheserver.

Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoslidetheserveroutfromtherack
enclosure,turnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Toremovethepowerpaddlecard,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Pullthepowersuppliesoutoftherearoftheserver,justenoughtodisengagethemfromtheserver.
Step2.Removethecover(see“Removingthecover”onpage157).
Step3.Removetheairbaffleifinstalled(see“Removingtheairbaffle”onpage159).
Step4.Removethe240VAsafetycover(see“Removingthe240VAsafetycover”onpage246).
Step5.Loosenthecablesfromthecabletie.
Step6.Disconnectthepowercablesfromthepowerconnectorsonthesystemboard.
