enclosure,turnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Toremoveanadapter,completethefollowingsteps.

Step2.RemovethePCIriser-cardassembly(see“RemovingthePCIriser-cardassembly”onpage163).
Step3.Disconnectthecablesfromtheadapter.
Step4.PlacethePCIriser-cardassemblyonaflat,static-protectivesurface.
Step5.Carefullygrasptheadapterbyitstopedgeoruppercorners,andpulltheadapterfromthePCI
riser-cardassembly.
